Thanks Johnathan,
Certainly the power of positive suggestion via verbalising positive thoughts does work. I have always been amazed at people's responses to "How are you?"....commonly "not too bad", "could be worse". Put a little 'pep' in to your response e.g "I'm great" (my favourite), "feeling fantastic" etc,and it gives you a lift and creates/re inforces a positive behaviour. On the 'beliefs', many that we hold are out of date, no longer serve us. The need to do a periodic audit of our beliefs is a must.
Be good to yourself

Greetings Dandy, yes, we certainly do have a lot more control than we gives ourselves credit for. The role of the mind and our beliefs about what it is capable of has always fascinated me.

Thank you so much Nea, for me it's always been about the practical side. The mind, body, and emotions are all wired together in a very complex system of feedback loops. Working with holistic approach just seems the most reasonable approach.

Hi Nancy, I think that there is a rising awareness regarding the power of thought and several different branches of the scientific community are getting really interested. Not that we need their approval to benefit, but it is extremely interesting to see what is being discovered.

Hi Jonathan,
This absolutely works. Years ago a therepist told me about this. Once I implimented it I found that things were changing for me in good ways. Even when I feel exhausted, dragged down, depleated - I change my thoughts to more positive ones and I feel so much better. We have alot more control than we gives ourselves credit for. Thanks Jonathan!

This is a great idea. You know, there is so much theoretical information available on the need to change our thoughts and beliefs. But what many people forget is that action steps are required. Maybe there are some people out there who can magically change the way they think/feel without any effort, but most people require some practical advice on how to get started. You've done well with that.
