Nice shot...

If we think in our mind that we are a successful, and than we will be successful. in reverse, if we think to ourselves I will fail, then we will fail. “We are what we think,” Keep in mind "I can”. Never say “I do not know if I can solve the problem or I do not know if I can finish this job." Try to form optimistic sentences that can motivate you in your mind: “I think there are many options available to solve the problem, and I know I will find some of the best solutions that can be used to solve this problem”. If we think it is an easy job, the job will seem easier. Try and see! it's working for me.

If we are able to harmonize these three elements; develop positive thoughts, keep a positive attitude, and maintain a positive heart, then what we do can be more meaningful.

.....recently I've been helping my daughter re-train herself in this area~I've been calling it 'stinkin thinkin' and have been explaining that it's just as easy to jump to a positive conclusion (to something going on) than to automatically go to the worst case scenario and since we have no idea WHAT is coming our way why not imagine a good outcome? It brings peace and does not cause stress to rise up for no reason. Worry is a wasted emotion as it never changes anything except our peace of mind!!
A lot of this stuff is found in the promises of God and is why people who know what the Bible says are shown to have a better outlook on their lives and get better outcomes than naysayers. Worry will kill you faster than whatever your imagination is afraid of happening will......
Good read!

Hi Christina, when we find ourselves in an uncomfortable situation it is easy to notice the things that we don't like and then compare them with what we did like about our past situation. Making comparisons won't help you feel better so that is a good habit to let go of. If you challenge yourself to find one new positive thing per day (about your now situation) and you make a list, it will change your focus. Each day your mind will be motivated to focus on the positive so it can provide you with something for your list. The bigger your list gets the easier it will be to find new positive things to add to it because your perception will have a new reference point.

One of my coaching clients who lacked confidence started a blog about confidence and it wasn't long before her level of confidence skyrocketed. Again, by changing her focus she changed her perception.

If anxiety and depression continue to weigh you down you might benefit from reading <a href="http://advancedlifeskills.com/blog/how-to-deal-with-anxiety-and-panic-attacks/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">How to Deal With Anxiety</a>. I hope you find these suggestions helpful. If you need further assistance all of these issues can be addressed with a few one-on-one <a href="http://breakthroughstrategycoaching.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">coaching</a> sessions.

Hello, so I am wondering when all you see is negativity in the world around you, where do you start in seeing the positives?
I am in a very difficult situation which involves my boyfriend (who was in an accident in 2010- which has forever changed our lives) is living across the country (I signed a 10 month contract prior to when we got back together). I am in a rural isolated community, away from all my family and I have made some friends up here (but most are back home). Its 1 week into the 10 months and I am struggling to keep myself from drowning in the sea of negativity and depression. I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and depression and I am having a hard time seeing the light.

I was thinking of making a positive blog? Where I could try to inspire myself to see the light because the darkness of both negativity and depression will drown me this year if I am not careful. What can I do to help myself find the light so I am not so negative to both myself and in front of others?

Nicely said Sonam, I guess we could call it a trick. But maybe it's just that the view of reality looks better through the window of positive thinking.
