I really resonated with the fact you looked at your adoption as a blessing. I have a couple of friends who are adopted and "choose" to focus on the fact they were 'given up'... and "choose" not to look at how special and blessed they are to have been chosen by their current parents. (despite my best efforts to persuade them otherwise). It seem to me you had an excellent set of examples to lead by.
